delta 88The Delta name in 1965 was an upscale trim of the Dynamic 88, the Dynamic 88 Delta, replacing the previous top-series B-body Olds, the Super 88. Early '65s were referred to asDelta 88, Ehty-Eht, 88. The first 88 was in the 1949 model year. Various desnations have been around: 88, Super 88 (starting in 1951, last in 1964), Dynamic 88 (1958-1966), Jetstar 88
