Great news for friends in Mainland China. Schirkoa will be screened on JIA Screen over the next week! Jia Screen is Chinese auteur extraordinaire Jia Zhangke’s new digital platform, where curated international films are featured and reviewed by Chinese critics and audience. We are thrilled to have Schirkoa there and hope they like this dystopian animation.

It’s a pleasure to announce that Schirkoa will be distributed all across the world through New Europe Film Sales, Poland. This means over the coming months you might be able to watch Schirkoa on various TV channels and platforms apart from film festivals.

Another good month for Schirkoa.
It has won big at Animex Screen & Awards (UK) – The Best Animation Film Award in Professional Category. It has also won Best Animation Film at the Texas International Film Festival.
Screening at the prestigious Melbourne International Film festival was fantastic. Upcoming screenings include New York Film Week (US), Detmold IFF(Germany), Illinois IFF (USA), and the Animanima Festival (Serbia).
Schirkoa is going steady with the festival run. With Animayo (Spain), British Animation Festival, Australian Animation Festival and Animex (UK), it has been in company of some tremendous line up of films.

So every now and then it’s good to release an accolades poster with most updated festival count and reviews. So here is one!
A note on film’s online release. Schirkoa will continue it’s festival run for the rest of the year followed by a mid 2018 online release. It’s not that bad considering there is some exciting news regarding film’s release through other channels and platforms. But more on that later.
